Hi friends! I have a confession. I didn’t start lifting as a way to have big fancy muscles or look a certain way. I started lifting as a way to get out of pain at the age of 22.

I’ve been a personal trainer for 12 years and have been educating trainers, clients, and myself alike on how to get stronger for even longer. I have over 30 different certifications on anything and everything related to the body and understanding how bodies work has always been a lifelong process. But, while I was working on getting stronger, confining myself to an icky, smelly gym with no windows on a weekly and sometimes daily basis just didn't feel right. I wanted more from my training practice in a space where I could lift pain free and I wanted the same for my clients too. Through that, I created an entirely new way of getting strong in the comfort of our own homes. 

In 2020, I created Get Strong Again for curious lifters who were tired of the gym and ready to take action on their goals of living a strong, pain free life. Since then, I've upgraded the game on what a personalized strength program at home looks like and I’m so excited to share it with you.

If it doesn’t feel good, we’re finding another way to make it happen, whether that’s changing the exercise or finding a better position that feels the best for you.

⭐️ Bring more curiosity into your training. Once you cut out the strict cookie cutter method training, it increase your excitement towards it. After your curious mindset shifts, you'll begin showing up more and reaching your goals faster!

⭐️ Do things in life they never thought possible. When you teach yourself to feel safe while lifting, you’re also teaching your nervous system how to trust you. This in turn, affects how you generally respond to stressful situations when you're not lifting as well.

⭐️ Use lifting as a way to understand your physical needs and boundaries. When learn how to communicate what your body is feeling, it gives you the tools to know exactly what you need and how to get strong on your terms.

⭐️ Feel more excited about doing your favorite activities! Here are a few of mine - roller skating, skiing, baking (standing up for long periods of time), long Vespa rides, running with my dog down the street, playing catch, walking up and down Hollywood Blvd, and the list goes on. When you are pain free and stronger, your excitement towards doing more things skyrockets. I was so surprised at the hobbies that I started doing again after I started lifting consistently and you I know you will be too.

⭐️ Be the strongest person in the room. I am 5’1” and I am known to give everyone, no matter how tall, a piggy back ride. It’s my greatest joy and I will never stop doing it. Being stronger = more joy!!!
